Offshore Recruiting Services Inc. (ORSI) is Canada’s leading offshore labour contractor. We specialize in the provision of skilled and certified marine, drilling, subsea construction, dredging and catering personnel. Our people have been mobilized to a wide variety of specialized subsea construction vessels and installations involved in the development of major offshore projects in Canada as well as worldwide. ORSI has been there – from Canada’s first producing offshore field – Panuke/Cohasset, – to the Hibernia platform, one of the largest offshore projects in the world, to both subsea construction projects offshore Newfoundland (Terra Nova and White Rose) and is today involved in both Hibernia South, White Rose subsea extensions  and the Hebron project as well as involvement in the development of Newfoundland’s new and prolific oil exploration basins- Flemish Pass/Cap and Orphan Basin. Our people are accustomed to working in harsh environments the Beaufort Sea, North Atlantic and the high arctic. This home grown experience and skills allows ORSI to work internationally – usually on deepwater subsea construction projects in Norway, Brazil, West Africa and Australia as well as major projects here in Canada including our contract with the government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) in support of multiple vessel, shipyard operations and freight forwarding services related tot he historical western arctic sealift. Most recently ORSI in partnership with Royal Boskalis Group, ORSI is supporting multiple dredging vessels related to construction of LNG Canada’s forty billion liquid natural gas project in Kitimat British Columbia.

ORSI is a Transport Canada Seafarer Recruitment and Placement Service (SRPS) License holder and is  therefore compliant with all  Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC 2006) legislation.
